Eduvos
Goal : Consolidate and Rebuild 2 Failed Intranets

Implementation :
A large, privately owned university with 13 campuses across South Africa. They had approximately 150 000 documents in 2 old intranets with a lot of duplication. Defined a new architecture that could scale across 11 departments, internal and external facing intranets. CEO sent personal thank you emails for our work. New home page launched in one week, full blown new intranet launched in 2 months. Ongoing development as in Juky 2024. Over 334 000 site visits by over 1000 staff members since launch.

Goal : Automated Integrated Management System (IMS)

A food services business that was struggling to control hundreds of policies, procedures, work instructions, registers and certificates. Built a fully automated IMS to review existing control documents, create news ones, and archive old ones.

Goal : Build an intranet from scratch

A financial investment firm across 3 countries and 32 entities in the group. We designed an architecture to scale across many companies and countries. We have commenced with structuring the UK intranet and continue with the South Africa Group Intranet.

Goal : Build an intranet from scratch

An insurance company with offices in 10 countries around Africa. Designed an intranet to cater for group as well as regional intranets. New intranet launched in 4 months; achieved 100% adoption within 6 months of launch.

Interwaste Holdings
Goal : Build an Intranet from Scratch

Implementation :
23 companies in the group across 2 countries and a holding company in France. We rolled out their first real intranet within 4 months, after 2 previous failed attempts by other vendors. The platform contains hundreds of news articles across 12 areas and an integrated Management System that caters for 8 of the companies in the group. We are busy automating the IMS to syndicate documents to all 8 companies. We centralized
the staff database to clean up the data across 3 platforms and consolidated policies into a Policy Centre with single point of truth, permissions restricted access for all staff for the first time.

Board portals removed from OneDrive and scaled out to 5 countries in the group. Policies and procedures removed from HTML system and proper document management applied in SharePoint. Various departmental portals created from IT, HR, Data Management, Training, etc.

Goal : Restructure existing 5-year old intranet

Re-organise hundreds of subsites from a migrated SharePoint 2010 on-premise environment and scale out using correct architecture and adoption strategies.

Goal : Implement Nando’s South Africa’s first intranet in their 30-year history

Very large project engaging with client and 7 other vendors on various intranet rollout requirements. Two custom development solutions as well as custom branding. Various complex workflow solutions including an Innovation System call Hot Ideas, and an SOP’s management system. Maintenance of Servers. Intranet successfully implemented and currently in use. Master casa data issues identified and resolved. Over 1 million hits on the site since launch to date.

Commenced with Massmart Audit Services. 100% out of box configuration. Consolidated group-wide audits, 8 spreadsheets into 1 custom list to drastically reduce reporting time by 2 weeks. Automated Travel Expense Claim System. Successfully implemented and in use.
